Optional Sunday GUIDED BUS TOUR of Cleveland Hungarian Sites on April 19, 2026

Explore Cleveland’s Hungarian heritage on a guided bus tour highlighting important cultural, historical, and community landmarks. This optional excursion is designed to fit conveniently into the conference schedule.

📍 TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

✔ Mindszenty Plaza and 1956 Memorial
✔ Hungarian Cultural Garden
✔ Kossuth Statue
✔ Hungarian Scout Center (the hotbed of Cleveland Hungarian activities) / St. Emeric Church

💵 COST & LOGISTICS

• $25 per person (includes guided tour but not food)
• Tour begins promptly at 9:00 am and ends at 12:00 pm.
• Tour will end at the Hungarian Scout Center, and from there participants can catch a train to the airport as needed.

⛪ IMPORTANT NOTES

• Airport access:
  🚶‍♂️ 10-minute walk from Scout Center
  🚆 Trains depart starting at 12:15 PM, every 15 minutes
  ✈️ Approx. 31-minute ride to the airport
• For those not going on tour, another cultural opportunity is a Hungarian-language Roman Catholic mass at St. Emeric Church at 11:00 am. The airport is 45 minutes away from the church via rapid transit.
